Nayara Gardens, Rainforest Pool Villa, Costa Rica, February 2023
This article is just a short description of our room at Nayara Gardens. I booked the Rainforest Pool Villa here because we wanted our own private space, and the resort was running a book 7 nights, pay for 5 deal. About half of the rooms at Nayara Gardens have a personal plunge pool. All of the rooms at Nayara Spring and Nayara Tented Camp have one.
Our room was absolutely enormous, and easily one of the largest rooms we have stayed in in Central America. The bedroom was large, with a four-poster bed with netting hanging down off it, making it seem extra luxe. There were several desks and a tv in the main room. All the colors in the room were pretty neutral.
The bathroom was almost the size of the bedroom. There were two separate his and hers vanities, with a large, two-headed shower in the middle and a separate room for the toilet. There was a mini bar and coffee station as well as a ton of closet space and storage. Additionally, there was a two-headed outdoor shower as well, which we both used most of the time.
The bonus was the pool part of the villa. We had our own personal infinity plunge pool, and it was a perfect size for the two of us to just chill out in. I say chill out, but the water was super warm, and fed by the nearby mineral springs. The pool is also totally covered, so when it’s raining (which is a lot!) you can still enjoy it! There were almost always different birds jumping around out here, including several species of tanager and hummingbirds.
We absolutely loved our well-appointed room. The housekeeping service almost always knew when we were away, and so housekeeping and turn down service never interrupted our down time. Our room was also the farthest from pretty much everything, so the sense of privacy was high here. If you are looking to stay at the Gardens, I highly recommend booking a Rainforest Pool Villa!
