The Vault: A Secret, Sexy, Speakeasy at Bellagio, Las Vegas

The Vault: A Secret, Sexy, Speakeasy at Bellagio, Las Vegas

It was tough to resist checking out the allure of a secret bar in the middle of the bustling Bellagio resort in Las Vegas on a girls trip in June of 2024. The Vault opened in August of 2023, and is still pretty new and still a bit unknown to casual travelers to Las Vegas. Barely noticeable and unmarked, the door to get into this uber-upscale speakeasy is just behind the cages in the middle of the main casino area. We arrived pre-dinner, without reservations, excited to check out this very cool, new place.

This bar is extremely dark and swanky, and probably one of the most luxe venues at the Bellagio resort, which is saying something, considering Bellagio also houses the very opulent Picasso and Le Cirque restaurants, surrounded by deluxe designer boutiques. I loved the art deco vibe of the bar, and the comfortable seating.

Service here is beyond excellent. While there weren’t too many folks here at 5:30pm on a Wednesday, the servers were super helpful and very attentive. We didn’t “pay” for any food, but we got a whole bunch of bites to help compliment our very extraordinary, and expensive drinks. They served us delectable chorizo stuffed olives, along with melt-in-your-mouth parmesan crisps and roasted pistachios to start. Afterwards, and before we were served our bespoke cocktails, we were also provided complimentary shots that kind of tasted like a boozy banana split. Yum!

Drinks here are very expensive, although also complicated and delicious, making the price point a little more palatable. The prices range from about $45 – $90 for a cocktail. They are handmade and use exclusive and expensive liquors and ingredients, and we all loved the drinks that we chose. That said, they do have wines and other options that are not quite so pricey.

To close, since we were celebrating birthdays, they brought us “gold bars” which were these moist, chocolaty, fruity cakes that we all drooled over, along with gelatin “shots” to finish our experience there.

This place is very unique, and worth a stop for a special occasion. Or, simply stop in for a glass of wine to check out the amazing art deco bar and extraordinary service.
